Last Chance

...to see Lawrence Of Belgravia this year, coming up next week!
There will be a special one-off screening of  the Lawrence documentary next Wednesday 14th November at the Curzon Cinema in Soho.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with Lawrence and director Paul Kelly.
Show starts at 6.30pm.
The magnificent Felt book will be on sale in the foyer afterwards. There's also rumours about super limited Go-Kart Mozart key rings being in supply. Amazing.
Hope to see you there then.

Gideon Coe having Lawrence

If you go here you can hear him talking about his well-liked B side band, their new single, sleep, and then some.
Starts roughly after 12.30 minutes. Very informative and entertaining so do not miss.
Many thanks go to Raz for the tip-off!

"I tried to do something unclassifiable"

With Paul Kelly's excellent film about Lawrence currently doing the rounds (if it hasn't made it to a cinema near you, you should ask to speak to the manager), there's also lots of great articles and interviews popping up which we'd like to point you to.

Nicholas Abrahams recently interviewed both Paul and Lawrence for the Quietus, while over on John Robinson's blog he's posted an extended version of the interview he did with Lawrence for Uncut late last year. And in a week or two, the new Mojo should hit the shelves with - we hear - a long feature on Lawrence and Felt...

Amazingly, there also appear to be some copies left of the rather extraordinary Felt book. That will not be the case for much longer, so we can only recommend you purchase a copy for your coffee table before it's too late.

The Felt Book Launch

We are exceedingly excited to announce this very special event, taking place on Friday, February 3rd at London's Rough Trade East, the shop famous for their tote bags.
The Felt Book's co-initiator Lora Findlay informed us that Lawrence himself will be doing a Q&A with Will Hodgkinson (author of Song Man) and various ex-members of the band (pictured).
Furthermore, Paul Kelly is going to screen excerpts from his Lawrence Of Belgravia film, and some record playing by the ex-colleagues will go down as well.
You can find more information about the event and how to get in here.
Surely a unique chance to pick up your signed copy of this matter which we believe to be essential. Yes!
